We took our daughter sledding today. There's a local hill where US50 and NV28 meet up. We showed up around 10:15am and stayed for about an hour.

It was her first time playing in the snow. A big storm came through over Christmas and left some good fluffy powder.

The hill was maybe 100' from top to bottom, with a bowl shape. So if you start higher you'll pick up speed faster. A nice progressive experience.

We got about five good runs in. Some of them were solo, by her demand. She almost ran into a tree.

By the time we left it was getting crazy busy. Lots of kids running into each other. We did a bit of snowball throwing and then headed back to grandmas.
